3. FROM THE ICE AGE TO THE ICE AGE - A HERITAGE TRAIL

   This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by the Municipality of Kragerø with local partners in Norway. It was aimed at increasing physical activity among the general public, increasing awareness of local historic sites and their importance, enhancing a sense of personal identity and roots and providing an outdoor activity for schools. One focus was on the Ice Age, including the history of ice production and export.

5. HEALTHY DINNER IN THE FOREST

It was aimed at drawing local people and visitors, who were relatively inactive and who did little exercise, out into nature and to have dinner in the forest.

6. COASTAL ACCESS, HERITAGE ASSET SCORING

It aimed to create a systematic examination and assessment of the known heritage assets which lie along the coast. This would enable the extension of an existing coastal path, so that assets which are vulnerable to public access could be protected and assets which are of significant interest and importance to the public understanding of the county’s coastal heritage could be promoted.

8. BACKPACK PROJECT IN SOUTHWEST JUTLAND
