It focused on families with young children from more deprived backgrounds who were relatively inactive and who did little exercise, and was aimed at drawing local people out into nature using the existing network of local paths and green spaces. -
COASTAL ACCESS, HERITAGE ASSET SCORING
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Norfolk County Council with local partners in UK. It aimed to create a systematic examination and assessment of the known heritage assets which lie along the coast. This would enable the extension of an existing coastal path, so that assets which are vulnerable to public access could be protected and assets which are of significant interest and importance to the public understanding of the county’s coastal heritage could be promoted. -
GEOCACHING IN SHERINGHAM PARK
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Norfolk County Council with local partners in the UK. It was aimed as a pilot activity with a small group of school children prior to launching a schools geocaching project. -

“COAST ALIVE! WALKS IN THE WELLS AND FAKENHAM AREA”
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Norfolk County Council with local partners in UK. It was aimed at developing a series of short walks off the coastal trail, exploring methods of increasing the use of public transport, promoting to both local people and residential visitors and building on lessons learned from earlier publications. Additionally, this final guide enabled consolidation of all the previous walk developments and some comparative evaluation analysis.
