MAKE A NEW OUTDOOR FRIEND – KICK-OFF ACTIVITY DAY - Dalane

Its aim was to inform stakeholders and others about the Coast Alive project. The overall aim was to reduce physical and mental barriers hindering physical activity among the in-active parts of the population, and to help the beginning of a new pattern of light and enjoyable exercise for people who, for various reasons, are inactive or less-active today. -

COASTAL ACCESS, HERITAGE ASSET SCORING
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Norfolk County Council with local partners in UK. It aimed to create a systematic examination and assessment of the known heritage assets which lie along the coast. This would enable the extension of an existing coastal path, so that assets which are vulnerable to public access could be protected and assets which are of significant interest and importance to the public understanding of the county’s coastal heritage could be promoted. -
HEALTHY DINNER IN THE FOREST
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Region Nordjylland and the Danish Nature Agency with local partners in Denmark. It was aimed at drawing local people and visitors, who were relatively inactive and who did little exercise, out into nature and to have dinner in the forest. -
NORTH JUTLAND WALKING FESTIVAL 2010
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by North Jutland with local partners in Denmark. It was aimed at inspiring local people, who were relatively inactive and who did little exercise, to be active in the countryside, with events suitable to all ages, interests and aspirations. -
BACKPACKS IMPLEMENTATION
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Region of North Jutland, Denmark, with Visit North Jutland and Danish Forest and Nature Agency. It involved collaboration with Region of South Denmark, another Coast Alive Partner. It was aimed at the general public by developing the concept and testing different kits/backpacks with different themes/content. -
