    Kystmarsjen ble arrangert for første gang sommeren 2012. I samarbeid mellom private arrangører og Rogaland fylkeskommune ble det arrangert en to dagers lang kystmarsj langs Nordsjøruta som vi håper kan bli et årlig arrangement.

  2. Kystmarsjen - "The Coastal March"

    As a community mobilisation initiative (CMI), Rogaland County Council in partnership with private actors, arranged a two days' coastal march along the North Sea Trail which is envisaged to continue as an annual event.

  3. GRADING OF OUTDOOR RECREATION AREAS

    This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Rogaland County Council with local partners in Norway. It was aimed at removing physical barriers to access to outdoor recreation areas and increasing the number of disabled people using outdoor recreation areas.

  4. MAKE A NEW OUTDOOR FRIEND – KICK-OFF ACTIVITY DAY - Haugalandet

    This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Rogaland County Council, with local partners in Norway. It was aimed at encouraging local people to walk or cycle ride in their local neighbourhood and encouraging them to invite their friends and acquaintances to join in.

    This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Rogaland County Council with local partners in Norway. It aimed to give a presentation of Coast Alive at a national seminar, focusing in particular on physical and mental barriers.
  6. Vistehola Rogaland - the relationship between cultural heritage conservation, recreational use and universal design

    How do we conserve our cultural heritage sites while also making them accessible to the public? As visitor numbers increase, the need to implement effective management routines, and innovative solutions also increases. We believe our experiences from Vistehola, one of Norway's most well known and best preserved stone age dwellings, may provide guidelines and inspiration for similar projects elsewhere.
