GEOCACHING IN SHERINGHAM PARK
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Norfolk County Council with local partners in the UK. It was aimed as a pilot activity with a small group of school children prior to launching a schools geocaching project.

GEOCACHING IN PRESCHOOLS
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Halland Regional Council with local partners in Sweden. It was aimed at teaching preschool teachers to learn how to use a GPS for teaching purposes, followed by them using this technology with children aged 3-6 years by integrating this activity into their work plan.

Mission 24 - Young Developers
Organisations and businesses give a group of students a mission to solve in 24 hours: “How can you get new groups of people more physically active using new techniques?” The basis was making more people physically active, thereby their tendency to use the car less frequently, to socialise more and become sick less often. Thus considerable cost savings could be made for the municipalities, the regional council and for business companies.

Geocaching with Schools in the National Park
School Children were given the opportunity to walk along part of the Cleveland Way and North Sea Trail. On the way they were able to experience the coastal landscape and wildlife, history and culture and gain an introduction to geocaching. Transport was arranged to take children to the start and pick them up from the end of the walk.

Cycle Path Opens From Klitmøller to Vorupør (Denmark) as Part of North Sea Trail Day Celebrations
The cycle trip starts on 4 September 2011 from Nystrup Camping and goes approximately 14km to the Landingplads in Vorupør. -
