Mapping trips in Møre og Romsdal
In Møre and Romsdal, there are many different trips and outdoor areas for various types of activities. There are also many books describing tours/trips, and people are generally fond of nature. There are areas that are more used than others though. Therefore, we developed a tool in the form of a database that could be used in various ways. -
PROJECT “Livsgledeløypa” – THE JOY OF LIFE TRAIL
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Hordaland County Council with local partners in Norway. It was aimed at increasing local interest in the North Sea Trail and upgrading 16 local trails to reach a national standard for all trails used for hiking, cycling, cross country skiing and kayaking. -

The overall aim was to reduce physical and mental barriers hindering physical activity among the in-active parts of the population, and to help the beginning of a new pattern of light and enjoyable exercise for people who, for various reasons, are inactive or less-active today. -

A promotional product was developed for use as a ‘give-away’ or prize at events that Coast Alive partners might wish to run, being useful for motivating participation.
