Kystmarsjen ble arrangert for første gang sommeren 2012. I samarbeid mellom private arrangører og Rogaland fylkeskommune ble det arrangert en to dagers lang kystmarsj langs Nordsjøruta som vi håper kan bli et årlig arrangement.

Kystmarsjen - "The Coastal March"
As a community mobilisation initiative (CMI), Rogaland County Council in partnership with private actors, arranged a two days' coastal march along the North Sea Trail which is envisaged to continue as an annual event. -

It was aimed at removing physical barriers to access to outdoor recreation areas and increasing the number of disabled people using outdoor recreation areas. -
NORTH JUTLAND WALKING FESTIVAL 2011
This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by North Jutland with local partners in Denmark. It was aimed at inspiring local people, who were relatively inactive and who did little exercise, to be active in the countryside, with events suitable to all ages, interests and aspirations. -
