VISUALIZING WEST JUTLAND

WHO WAS MEANT TO DO IT?
The general public, businesses, local communities, families, children and disabled people.
WHAT DID THEY DO?
This initiative focused on photographs taken off-season, showing how to play and learn in local nature on the doorstep.
HOW DID THEY DO IT?
It was intended to motivate locals and visitors to South West Jutland to value the nature that they are surrounded by. Photographs were taken which aimed to:
- Inspire locals to be active in the nature
- Inspire locals to play and learn in the nature
- Inspire parents to take their children out in the nature
- Inspire visitors to the area to be active in the nature
- Encourage locals and visitors become ambassadors for the local nature
The resulting photographs would be used in connection with Press and PR, resulting in a high level of “added value”. The photographs would be available for local use, commercial and non- commercial.
The budget included a professional photographer and two families to act as ‘extras’.
Measures were taken to count the number of uses in advertising and by local companies and organisations.
HOW MANY PARTICIPATED?

DID IT WORK?
Yes, the photographs were taken and were forwarded to Coast Alive and local partners and officials in South Denmark.
WAS IT SUCCESSFUL?
Pictures were supposed to be taken on the North Sea Trail. However, due to the fact that there are no shelters or playgrounds, only a few pictures were taken on the path itself and instead went into the forest.
If it was done again, a visit to the relevant spots would be arranged before the planned activity.
OTHER POINTS?
The activity was relevant for the Activity theme of this work package because it also gives inspiration to a wide range of target groups and thereby raises the motivation for being in the nature outside the summer season.
The activity was integrated with WP1: Event and Marketing because the result of the activity will be used for print in all kind of papers.
