MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT PRESENTATION

This is one of many Community Mobilisation Initiatives developed by Coast Alive partners. This one was done by Rogaland County Council with local partners in Norway. It aimed to give a presentation of Coast Alive at a national seminar, focusing in particular on physical and mental barriers.

WHO WAS MEANT TO DO IT?

Coast Alive Rogaland partners.

WHAT DID THEY DO?

An invitation was received to give a presentation at a seminar arranged by the Ministry of Environment.

HOW DID THEY DO IT?

As aspin-off from the stake-holder workshop, a presentation was given at a national seminar on universal design which was arranged by Ministry of Environment in Norway.  The presentation was about the Coast Alive project, focusing in particular on physical and mental barriers.

DID IT WORK?

The presentation was delivered according to plan.  There were many questions and positive remarks from the participants.

WAS IT SUCCESSFUL?

The short term objectives were met and this activity was one of several important building blocks helping this partner to reach the long term objectives.

OTHER POINTS?

Sharing of knowledge at international meetings will help integrate this activity with the needs of all the themes.
